Biblical churches wrestle with the tension of being both cohesive and inclusive - continuing to love brothers while also loving strangers (Hebrews 13:1-2). In the natural, it is difficult to accomplish both and it can be tempting to hold on to one while sacrificing the other. This has become increasingly challenging as a result of a pandemic that has changed the landscape of our context. How can we, like the church in Acts 2, be effective at both seeing people saved (evangelism) and added (family)?

About Mike:
Mike Pilavachi spent 26 years heading up Soul Survivor ministries (a charity that aimed to equip young people to live their lives for Jesus) as well as pastoring the associated church – Soul Survivor Watford.  

Mike speaks at conferences around the world, trying to make people laugh and point them towards Jesus at the same time. He has written a number of books, the latest of which is called ‘Lifelines’.  

In his spare time, he loves to cook, watch the West Wing and tend to his grape vines!
